MOYNIHAN TRAIN HALL
A portal between eras

Multimedia transforms Penn Station’s historic expansion into a living, cinematic experience for daily commuters and global travelers alike.

Four panoramic LED screens span the main hall, seamlessly integrated into the architecture with a content media strategy designed for long-term impact.

PROJECT
As part of New York’s effort to reimagine its busiest transit hub, Penn Station, the Farley Post Office was reborn as Moynihan Train Hall—an ambitious architectural and cultural transformation.
A multimedia content strategy was developed, creating seven original animated capsules, highlighting New York City’s energy, state-wide natural beauty, and the building’s storied past.
Designed to unfold across four panoramic LED screens embedded into the hall’s infrastructure, the content acts as ambient tableau, momentary escape, and a soft architectural intervention—turning the act of transit into a moment of wonder.
A space to pause, look up, and feel the poetry of motion.
