TERRA SANCTA MUSEUM
Illuminating the layers of history

An emotional visitor experience that introduces travellers to the layered history of Jerusalem.

A custom-built, free-floating topographic city model becomes the projection surface for an 8-minute light and narration-based film.

PROJECT
Located at the Second Station of the Cross, the Terra Sancta Museum welcomes thousands of visitors each year with a powerful introduction to the story of Jerusalem—from Herod the Great to the present day.
Archaeological artifacts are staged through choreographed light, voice-over, and projection, unfolding across a suspended sculptural model of the city.
For the first time, ancient maps of Jerusalem were digitized and animated, layering visual history onto a modern storytelling canvas.
Produced in eight languages, the experience provides visitors with both spiritual grounding and historical clarity as they begin their walk along the Via Dolorosa.
